DMARC is an email validation system for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance. Its primary purpose is to provide domain owners with the ability to protect their domain against unauthorized use, such as email spoofing, phishing, and other fraudulent activities.

In simple terms, DMARC is a policy statement that informs email receivers how to handle emails that claim to be from your domain. Domain owners can specify which authentication methods, such as SPF and DKIM, their email messages should pass and how recipients should handle emails that fail authentication checks. DMARC ensures that genuine emails are delivered to the recipient's inbox. In contrast, fraudulent emails are blocked or sent to the spam folder.

It is highly recommended to use a DMARC record when sending emails with Helpmonks. However, it is not mandatory to use one. 

Before enabling your DMARC record, you must ensure that you have added and verified all the DNS records in your mailbox settings. Once done, you can proceed with configuring your DMARC record.
