Forward Emails from Rackspace to Helpmonks

On this article, you will learn how to forward emails from Rackspace to your Helpmonks mailbox. There are two ways to this, it can be done via the webmail apps.rackspace.com 9 or through the Cloud Office Control Panel 4

Before you configure forwarding, please note your Helpmonks unique email address.

FOR HELPMONKS VERSION 2:
Grab the mailbox email address by going to the Mailbox Settings > General > Forward & SMTP.




FOR HELPMONKS VERSION 3:
Grab the mailbox email address by going to the Mailbox Settings > General Settings.




Forward using the webmail

  • Log in to your account at apps.rackspace.com 9.
  • Click on your account username and select Settings
  • On the pop-up box, select Incoming Email and click on the Forwarding tab

  • Set the status to ON and enter the email address to which you want to forward emails in the “forward to” box.
Important: To save a copy of forwarded emails, check the box next to “save a copy of forwarded email”. If unchecked , Rackspace will not store any messages sent to your mailbox .

  • Once done, click Save and allow some time for the configuration to be fully enabled. Send a test email to check, once the email arrives, your team is now all set to handle emails in Helpmonks.



Forward using the Cloud Office Control Panel

  • Login to the Cloud Office Control Panel by using your Rackspace Cloud Office admin ID and password.
  • In the Rackspace Email section, click Mailboxes.

  • Select the domain that contains the mailbox you want to forward.
  • And on the mailbox list, click on the highlighted name of the mailbox to configure forwarding emails.

On the next window, click the Forwarding/Auto-Reply tab and check the box next to “forward email to”. Then enter the email address to which you want to forward emails

Important: To save a copy of forwarded emails, check the box next to “save a copy of forwarded email”. If unchecked , Rackspace will not store any messages sent to your mailbox .

  • Once done, click Submit and allow some time for the configuration to be fully enabled. Send a test email to check, once the email arrives, your team is now all set to handle emails in Helpmonks.
