New features empowers Helpmonks users with customization

At Helpmonks, we’re huge believers that we don’t live in a one-size-fits all world. As such, we’ve designed our powerful suite of collaborative email, email marketing, and CRM tools to be as flexible as possible.
We have a wide variety of types of users — from small startups to Fortune 500 companies — and trying to force either of them to behave like the other would be like herding cats. Actually, it’d be worse than that. It’d be like herding elephants; sure we could get them all going in the same direction, but they’d likely trample us in the process.
At any rate — we’re proud to announce that we’ve recently introduced three new customization features that allow any company to use Helpmonks to their suit their own needs and preferences. Let’s take a closer look at each:
Custom Fields
Helpmonks users can now add any custom field they want to their customer records. This can be a powerful tool, allowing our users to keep on file industry-specific information on their customers.
Want to know when someone last placed an order? Add a custom field. Want to know the source of a prospective customer? Add a custom field. Need to know a customer’s favorite food, color, and vacation destination? Add a custom field.
This is a big part of our recent addition of CRM features, and we expect it to provide a huge amount of value to all our users.
Custom Applications
Even with all the out-of-the-box software packages out there, there are many companies who have their own custom applications that are specific to their industry. For these firms, custom applications often pose problems because those applications are frequently limited in function, and they don’t always play well with other software packages.
Not so with Helpmonks! With this plugin it’s easy to bring in data from your custom application or data store into Helpmonks. You can create two kind of applications, one a dynamic app where data is being pulled and pushed to your web-service and the other is static data.
Customer Satisfaction Ratings
This one is specifically designed for Helpmonks users who provide customer service through our platform. This plugin allows our clients to gather customer’s satisfaction ratings on the fly. When enabled, customers can instantly let you know if they are happy with your answer. On top of that, you will have a beautiful report. All built within the Helpmonks platform.
